What is a confidence interval?

Also: 95 % range, margin of error

A confidence interval is a range around a measured value that shows how much it could vary by chance. A visibility score of 62 with a 95 % range of 55 to 69 means the true value is probably in that band. A narrow range means a reliable number, a wide one means you need more data.

How to read it

If two ranges overlap, the difference between the scores may be noise. If a new range sits clearly above the old one, the change is likely real. More questions and more runs narrow the range.

Example: a score of 62 with a 95 % range of 55 to 69 and a later score of 66 with a range of 59 to 73 overlap, so the rise may be noise.

How does Nodpick use it?

Every Nodpick score comes with a 95 % range, so you can tell a real change from normal swing. The method explains how it is calculated. Run the free AI visibility check to see your own numbers; the method shows how they are made, and pricing lists the plans.
