What is a citation source?

Also: Cited source, source domain

A citation source is a web page or domain that an AI assistant links to as evidence for an answer. Looking at the sources behind the answers for your questions shows where assistants get their information about your category, and which of those pages you could appear on or improve.

How to use it

List the most-cited domains for your questions. Each is either a page you should be on (a roundup, a review platform), a competitor's page, or your own. Gaps tell you where to publish or ask for a correction.

Example: for "best project tool for agencies", assistants link three roundups and one review platform; those four domains are your citation sources.

How does Nodpick show it?

Nodpick lists the cited sources per question and engine, next to your score and share of voice. Run the free AI visibility check to see your own numbers; the method shows how they are made, and pricing lists the plans.
