What is Microsoft Copilot?
Also: Copilot, Bing Chat
Microsoft Copilot is Microsoft's AI assistant, built into Windows, Edge, Bing and Microsoft 365. Its web answers use Bing's search results, so Bing indexing and Bing Webmaster Tools matter for being cited. Microsoft offers an AI Performance report in Bing Webmaster Tools that shows when your pages are cited.
What to do for Copilot
Make sure Bingbot can crawl your site, submit a sitemap in Bing Webmaster Tools, consider IndexNow for faster updates, and read the Bing AI Performance report.
Example: a Copilot answer in Edge cites your comparison page because Bing has indexed it.
Does Nodpick track Copilot?
No. Nodpick does not track Microsoft Copilot. The Bing AI Performance report is the first-party source for Copilot citations.
